Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are removable dental appliances designed to replace missing teeth. They are commonly retained and supported by the remaining natural teeth. Partial dentures using wire retention are the most common however there are a number of other varieties that are available for patients who do not wish to see the wire retention.

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are where all natural teeth (upper, lower or both) are extracted and or replaced by complete dentures. Complete dentures are used to improve symmetry and bite relationship as well as replace missing teeth.

Removable Supported Dentures

Dental implants can be inserted into the patient's mouth and be used to support and retain dentures. A variety of different retention devices are available are available to allow for denture removal.

Fixed Supported Implants

In some instances a patient wants all of their teeth replaced but do not want a removable denture. It is now possible to replace all missing teeth with a type of denture that is fixed to dental implants and does not come out.
